Melissa's Restaurant in Songtan
I just completed Melissa's Restaurant ad. It is the newest restaurant in Songtan and is a perfect place to take a date. They have a free salad bar for anyone during lunch hours and for the month of May they are giving a 20% discount to celebrate the family. Give them a try and tell them Mike sent you!

That place is expensive. $30 for a rib-eye? woosh. I never hear anyone talking about eating at that place. Has anyone tried it yet?

Go outside the Osan Main gate and take a left after crossing the street. Walk past Easy Rider and the Thai restaurant. Take a right right after the Thai restaurant towards Puffins. It is on your left side after Puffins on your way to the Church at the top of the hill and Wes's. Tell them Mike sent you and you may get a discount! I haven't talked to them in a while though.

My family and I went to Melissa's today for Valentine's dinner. The building is really nice. There are two floors and the bathrooms are really nice (hey thats important!). The seats are heated and it has a bidet, and other buttons, but it was Korean so I don't know what they were for. Upstairs the tables are like private areas. They are blocked off so you don't have to watch anyone else eat. Anyway, on to the important stuff, the food. I had the spicy chicken spaghetti, which if it hadn't had carrots and some sort of squash in it, would have been pretty good. Hubby had BBQ chicken. The sauce was tasty but they kinda skimped on the veggies. The girles split the cheese stuffed chicken breast. It was more than enough to split, between the two of them the only ate half the the chicken (which had another kind of sauce on it) and there were some potatos which were still really firm, and veggies which again, was a skimpy serving. Foodwise I think it was not worth the money. Although the people were nice, I had to wait a really long time to get a refill on the overlycarbonated soda, and apparently they have changed ownership, so the 20% off coupon here isn't valid (although they let us use it this time). All in all the Melissa's was just OK.
