[VIDEO] Juicy girls in Songtan! 15 Minute Video

This is an interesting video from some new guys to Korea. These guys made a video as they traveled around Songtan. Then they interviewed one of the bar owners and she told them how everything works! 30 drinks a night is the requirement for the bar girls at this bar!

I recognize the first bar where the girls "run for a juice." It is Club Stereo.

hmmmm

Don't know how long these youg fellas have been in country and its understandable they are feeling adventurous and all but they shouldn't for one minute think they have 'uncovered' some kind of startling new information to share with the whole internet audience. Hope the owner doesn't get wind of this and see the video on the web, could cause that ajima some problems. I know you want to build your web sight but do you really think it smart to post a video like this for the world to see? Aren't there enough problems associated with GI's in Korean bar towns without running something like this? This video is extremely bised toward the negative and the narrator is obviously alcohol influenced. Not very good judgement on your part to post it.

How is this bad judgment? It is a video associated with Songtan in a Songtan sub-forum. You said it yourself; these guys are not uncovering a secret filled with unknown information. Should I only post “happy, good feely” videos that USFK puts out? If people post videos or information like this in the future, should I censor it?

Turk, look at where I got the video from. It was posted on You Tube, the #1 video site on the internet with millions visitors a day. I think it is in the top 10 of most popular sites in the world. All I did is hot-link it in the forum. I am not breaking this story in anyway as thousands have already viewed it.

Right

You're an old Korea head. The ajima is just a woman trying to make a living in a world she didn't create. She was videotaped without her knowledge. A sinister picture of Korea has been painted in recent years for stuff that goes on all over the world, including our USA. These guys have contributed to that tainted picture of a country I thought most viewers of this sight had a fondness for. They are young and that is not their fault. In the start of the video the narrator says they are in a dark alley, c'mon we all know thats Aragon alley where most of us hang out and know many of the bar owners and their families. If these guys are young and ignorantly posted the video on youtube that is their fault. Posting on your sight only propagtaes the kind of crap we keep on hearing about the 'American GI' in Korea being the cause of all the human trafficking. Cameras were once off limits to have in clubs, they still are in many. Since the clubs have been importing girls in recent years, many clubs don't mind the occasional picture or video of the foriegn girls. Taking pictures of local Koreans and posting them on the internet is an entirely different thing. An old Korea head should know that. later.

I disagree. Everyone has a choice. Why didn't this Korean woman choose to work in a Korean restaurant or some other Korean business. Is she trapped in the bar like the juicy girls? She chooses to work in the bar every day.

Again I disagree. Koreans are behind prostitution. They are over 99% of the visitors to the prostitutes and they are the owners of the bars that service the military members. This poster contains the facts.

Koreans are the reason prostitution goes on in South Korea. Less than 1% of prostitution is caused by USFK's presence in Korea. It is a myth that USFK is the cause of human trafficking and prostitution in South Korea.

Turk, I have posted thousands of posts with most being pro-Korean. This video is no way shows Korea in a bad light. It show the bar owners that decide to import juicy girls in a negative light.

Any other opinions on this?

It's a know fact, a few years ago here at Camp Humpherys (I think) 60 minutes came through and asked a few questoins and the CP
(Courtesy Patrol, the guys in Uniform) showed them how to pick up Juicys and which bars to go to.

So this video means very little, more has been shown on National TV.

turk's very first statement above was one of the impressions I got, too. Other than that all I saw was poor journalism by a bunch of dorks. In no way did it give me a "sinister" view of Korea, though. Even if this were a video shot in a different country, I would think no less of that country's culture. Every country has its "dirt". To look at one video like this and say "______ is an evil country because they __________"...well, that's really closed-minded of them.

Posting this is a "bad move"? I don't know...in an inadvertant way, it could be a good thing, too. We're discussing it now, right?

I think a form of censorship has just taken place.
I watched the video and thought it was a joke. Half of what the ajuima was saying was misinterpeted by the narrator.

Cool I agreed with Turk.

The video was very interesting, (So is mud wrestling), but I think it did nothing to contribute to the good relationship we would like to retain between our Forum and the Koreans in general. I especially felt that showing the American hidden camera team could lead some to believe that this Forum and all Americans condone entrapment and secret surveillance without permission. Just because 60 minutes already covered it once, or just because something is available on the open net or airways, doesn't mean that we need to necessarily put it on our family oriented forum. Anyway, call it censorship if you like, I'll take the hit!
