Osan Air Base to Incheon Driving Directions

1. Travel out Main Gate (by shopping area) and immediately turn left. Follow narrow road for .3 miles (.5 km) and bear right following signs to Suwon and Chonan. NOTE: Reset odometer after each step.

2. Continue for .3 miles (.5 km) until you are forced to merge right by the Doolittle gate. Proceed over bridge for .5 miles (.8 km) to the “T” intersection. Turn left onto Highway 1 following sign for Suwon.

3. Continue on Highway 1 following signs for Suwon. After 3.7 miles (5.9 km) you’ll reach an intersection and signs indicating a right turn for Expressway 1. Turn right at this intersection and continue another .3 miles (.5 km) to tollgate. Take ticket and write your “vehicle registration number” and “USFK” on it. (FOR GOV ONLY)

4. Proceed out tollgate and follow signs for Expressway 1 and Seoul. Follow onramp around and merge onto Expressway 1.

5. Continue on Expressway 1 following signs for Seoul. After 9.9 miles (15.9 km) you’ll reach Exit 7 for Expressway 50. Exit here at Exit 7 to Expressway 50 following signs for Incheon and Ansan.

6. Merge onto Expressway 50 and follow signs for Ansan, Incheon then Expressway 15. After 14 miles (22.5 km) you’ll reach Exit 5B for Expressway 15 and Seoul. Exit right at Exit 5B and follow offramp for a short distance straight into the tollgate. Give ticket to attendant.
NOTE: About 3.8 miles (6.1 km) after merging onto Expressway 50 the road will split before going through a tunnel. Continue in any lane—they all merge back together after the tunnel.

7. After leaving the tollgate remain in right lane for .7 miles (1.1 Km) until you reach Exit 3. This exit is a 2-lane right exit—stay in left exit lane (follow “Airport Bus” in picture). The sign reads Expressway 100 for Ilsan and Gimpo.

8. Follow exit around and merge onto Expressway 100. Continue for 7 miles (11.2 km) on Expressway 100 following signs for Ilsan until you run directly into another tollgate. This is a pay only tollgate—meaning you never picked up a ticket. Just slowly proceed through—the attendant will recognize the government vehicle and wave you through.

9. Proceed straight through tollgate and continue on Expressway 100 following signs to Ilsan and Expressway 130. You’ll travel for 10 miles (16 km) until you reach the exit for Expressway 130. This exit is NOT numbered—just remain in the right lane and exit onto Expressway 130 when the signs indicate to.

10. After merging onto Expressway 130 continue straight for another 5 miles (8 km) until you run directly into the next tollgate. This is another pay only tollgate—meaning you never picked up a ticket. Just slowly proceed through—the attendant will recognize the government vehicle and wave you through.

11. Proceed straight through tollgate and continue on Expressway 130 for 16 miles (25.7 km) until you reach Incheon International airport. You’ll cross another large bridge before you reach the airport.

NOTE: About 3 miles (4.8 km) after departing the tollgate on Expressway 130 and just before the bridge pictured below you’ll see a sign for Expressway 130 (Incheon Airport) directing you to exit right. DO NOT exit here—continue straight over the bridge and on to the airport.
