Re: Arriving in OSAN in one month

No, I didn't get my numbers mixed- just didn't clarify.

Command Sponsored Dependants on your orders pay the same price as the sponsor- so therefore If its official travel then yes, they would pay only $25.

I was talking about a non-CS Dependant if they were traveling along with a husband or wife - they would pay the $35

*edit, this is my correct account- correct e-mail (lilwinky), so no one gets confused.

Re: Arriving in OSAN in one month

I'm a NCS spouse so I will be paying the $35. We'll be there in 2 weeks! Can't wait.

Re: Arriving in OSAN in one month

my friend ... i recently arrived to Osan about a month ago. on orders with my wife, the bus is 35 bucks per person. my wife is with me here CS -- yeah i get to stay 2 years. the bus travel was re-embursable on the travel voucher (70 bucks total). also, some advice is to try to have correct change as the local national bus driver (NAF employee) sometimes does not have change. i only had 4 twenty dollar bills and just had him keep the change. i vividly remember the exact cost becuase i did not have exact change and it cost me 10 bucks.

the services bus driver does not check if you are on orders or not...he asked us what our travel status was -- you have to tell HIM if you are traveling on PCS/TDY orders or not and he charges you accordingly. so CS or not, it probably wont make a difference.

we just went on leave to China last week (wife and me)...bus costs 25 bucks each to take the airport when not on official travel one way. looking at that reciept right now.

they charge more when on official travel (much like Dragon Hill) becuase its re-emburseable...

did hear a rumor that the patriot express may return soon...so then it will all be free!!

Re: Arriving in OSAN in one month

we may be getting our connections crossed, because I payed at the USO station in the Airport, to an Air Force airmen, $25.

What i'm thinking is the guys at the counter don't care about looking at orders and whatnot, if you say "my wife is with me" they'll just charge two people w/'Official Travel'.

anywho, i think we beat this topic into the ground

Re: Arriving in OSAN in one month

I wonder if those are the ones up the street from me. They just finished construction a week or so ago. There is a phone number on the building. I can go get a couple photos for you tomorrow.

I got photos, will upload them in a bit. Looks like these are run by Century 21; C21 also runs Opera House apartments.

The new apartment buildings!
Here is one view:

Another view:

The street number on the building:

A view of the covered parking:

The street / intersection:

From the main gate, turn left and walk about two or three blocks. They look very nice, but no balconies and most likely no elevator. The parking is a good bonus though!
