1. OK- Someone more familiar with the driving correct me if I mess up. Allow an hour to Osan, or more on the weekend. (I won't normally drive on a weekend, due to traffic congestion.) From Seoul we get on Highway 1 South and go on past Suweon until we see the Osan Exit. Get in the right lane and exit at Osan City. Drive straight past the toll gate and turn LEFT at the second light? Go through town about 3 kilometers and when you pass the YKK Company on your RIGHT (The world's largest Zipper company), be prepared to turn RIGHT at the next light and up over a bridge, making no turns until you hit the Osan Air Base Gate. They will tell you from there-where to park, etc. Cars entering need to be SOFA registered.

2. Personally, I prefer the subway.(about 2000 Won) Get off at SONGTAN (NOT Osan). Out the front and walk immediately RIGHT for 1/4 mile, bearing RIGHT to the main gate of Osan AB. Shuttle bus is inside the gate. You can take a taxi.

3. From Yongsan, easiest way is the Post Bus to Osan. Tickets are about $5 for adults, one way. If you know what time you are coming back, it is best to buy a return ticket, for when it is sold out, it is sold out! Example: You might not get on the 5 PM return bus if all tickets are sold. Worst case, you might wait an hour or go out and ride the subway.

Going by last year, you may get a sunburn, so be prepared, lotion, hats and parasols. REMEMBER; NO BACKPACKS on the Aircraft Runway area! Your backpack will be checked and stored outside the show entrance area, and returned when you leave. a fanny pack may be OK. or a stroller. Diaper bags, etc. will be inspected.

As always, something else comes up where I may not beable to be there.

The Chinooks is the biggest helicopter out there, tandem rotor. Just look for the BUS with huge rotor blades.

Chucksnee- tell me the best day for you to be there, or if you get moved to something else- RIGHT NOW SUNDAY IS BETTER FOR ME! That way I wont miss the Computer club meeting and the retiree Appreciation Barbeque at Yongsan Sat evening.

Right now Sunday is better for us too.. if we go, it will be on Sunday, I think it's a 4 day too this weekend? I could be wrong though.
