i keep reading about restrictions on taking golf clubs to korea. are they talking about on your personal luggage or in your tmo shipment? surely you must be able to bring your own golf clubs...
btw, how is the course, and does anyone know how much it costs for a year membership?

also, is there any hunting or fishing in the local area?

Can't help on golfing-but Osan has a course, and I never heard anything about restrictions on clubs. I used to hunt around Osan, but, unfortunately, the Korean Govt. stopped that. Now there are few hunting areas. I understand Cheju Island is still the best place for pheasants. Probably means a tdy.
It may not be worth it to bring a shotgun, as it is a pain, and rental is good. Bass fishing is a reality now, and there are gurus at Osan! Check out the ads on our forum classifieds. There is a deep sea all day trip out of Inchon you may like- see your Service Club.
