It isn't on the ban list. I have a couple of lady friends that visited that place and also Queens massage which is out the gate to the right. They paid $34 for a full body/1 hour and they said it was awesome.

It is 5:30 PM on Sunday, 24 Sept. I just checked the Official Osan web site. Even though the page is dated "August" it says Rex Bar is OFF LIMITS as well as a place called AWOL (I said OMAR before. WRONG!) Don't know who is right, but if I were military, I would ask at the Gate before going out! Stripes are hard to get back.

The Rex Bar and AWOL are on the banned list, but not the Sports massage places. Maybe this thread is zig zagging.

I'm pretty sure that the Sports Massage places aren't banned =/ They have no reason to be. I've been to them and they were nice =]

I'll find out for sure when I get there in a couple of weeks, but I definitely appreciate the help! I'm all about getting my monthly massage, so it's good to hear that I might have some options!

Not compleatly true. If they have two poles, then yes, they are places to get you wick wet. some have just one...but most ahve two. If you see one pole, then it's a place to get your hair cut. Put it this way...if you have to go down stairs to get to teh shop, then it's not to get a trim, it's just for trim.

Railroad tracks, pharmacies, barber shops off Limits. I think the reason for barber shops being off limits has been answered. Until a few years ago, 2-4 my memory is fading, you did not need a prescription to purchase any drug the pharmacy sold. The law was changed, much to the anger of local pharmacies, so now you must have a prescription for must drugs - much like the US. I understand the reason the RR tracks were/are off limits is bacause this was a place where women who failed the monthly VD test, adminsitered by the Osan hospital, would go and ply their trade. Some of the old timers may have a different view. I think it is time for the base to rethink what is posted as off limts, review the reasons for placing these areas off limits, and if there is no current reason to keep them off limits - they should be removed from the off limits list.

Most Glass House areas will not have anything to do with non Koreans anyway. One place in Seou even had a sign "Foreigners Not Welcome."
