Tom posted a message on the AFPC message board, asking how he would find out about his next assignment (hoping they would tell him what it actually was) and they just wrote him back today. It was supposed to take 24 hours to get a reply but it took a whole week plus.

Finally!

Just got word that I'll be going to Wright-Patt after Korea. Not quite what we were hoping for, but I used to live in Ohio so it won't be too bad. It was my last choice on my list.

At least I'll get to see plenty Ohio State football games!

Yeah I had to call AFPC and ask for a follow on because I was less than a week from my leave enroute to Osan. It was a good thing though because the SSgt on the other end of the phone looked at my choices and said how about Mildenhall? Which was my first overseas choice.
