Trying to find out information on the AF buying the CH-47 G.

I know they bought them, but was wondering about when and where they are going to impliment them into there inventory.

Last I hear the Air Force cancelled the CH-47 for the CSAR-X initiative and rebid the contract. Possible that they are going to go for an updated H-60 since we already have mechanics for that.

Sounds like they had the same contracting official that jacked up the KC-767 program.

If it was not in the paper about the AF "maybe" buying the MH-47 G then I would agree with you.

This is nothing new or "secret" just trying to find info out.

This is an open source document. The actual contract is on a public accessable source so that contractor can bid on the program. It has also been in the news. A quick search of CSAR-X will reveal that everyone knows about it.
