The three-Screen movie at Yongsan is free, also ,like at the Hump. It is nice to have a free movie. The catch is, eat first before going. The Popcorn is $3 and up to $6 for a Large! It can easily cost $10 per person with drinks and snacks! No outside food is permitted. They do have water fountains, so if you are smart, the free movie is a bargain!
The AF used to charge a buck or two for movies, but the popcorn was reasonable. How is it done these days? |

Re: Off base movie theater
Urista,
If you're at Osan, get in one of the taxis right outside the gate and say "Lotte Cinema". The taxi ride only costs about 3000 won. You buy your tickets on one floor and have to go up to another floor to see the movie. I don't trust nmy memory to tell you which floor. All the American movies have Hangul subtitles. But, the signs are in Hangul, so you'll have to ask some one to tell you what time the movie is showing. If you work with any Koreans, they have a web page that advertises the show times, but it's all in Hangul. One of the ladies working the front desk at the Airmen and Family Readiness Center was kind enough to look up a show time for me when I couldn't wait to see Transformers. Hope that helps. Good luck! Oh, I noticed that at Yongsan once about 7 months ago, but I thought it was just for that short time to drum up business. Glad to hear they still do that.
