Hobby shops

Is there a hobby shop (plastic models) around that sinjang shopping area? I see a hobby shop on another site's interactive map, but I think that map was completed in 1997!

Cool Re: Hobby shops

Welcome Home! Send me a map and let me know what's up. Or Just update your old blog! If there is a hobby shop with plastic models I haven't seen one. I havㄷ a guy's card who sells airplane models- I'll see if I can find it.
I do know a place that has ships and some models. It is in the round building in the Yongsan Electronic Center on the fourth or fifth floor.

Re: Hobby shops

There is a hobby shop. It's called US Hobby. Go out the main gate, take right. At the triangle (of death) take a left, you need to be on the right side of the road. Walk past Korea Realty and the Asia Tourist Hotel to the bridge. DO NOT GO OVER THE BRIDGE, walk to the right of it. It's right there, you can't miss it.

I'm into aero modelling at the moment. This is my recent works. It took me 2 years to build this. Gosh.. I have used my grandphather's photo album though.

Re: Hobby shops

Wow Youngbuck, that is fantastic! I seldom paint my models and if I do its usually something wierd, like my chrome panzer Mk. IV! I found 5 kits in the little shop across the street so now I'm putting together a F-15E strike eagle. My stepdaughter has been a big help for a 13 year old who has never modeled, so I told her I'd get a couple of kits of the same thing (probably some kind of tank) and we'd build them together.

What do you do with your models when they are finished? I look at mine for a few days, then I set them outside where some kids can find them and play with them.

I'll try these directions! Is the main gate the k-55 that opens right into the shopping area?

It looked like a triangle arrangement to the left of the gate (looking at it, not coming out, I'm not allowed in there!)

I usually put them on the shelves for an exibition. I'm running out of my shelves though, so Keep storing them on the original boxes. (I do not glue wheels for this reason.) Also, I usually give some of them to my business associates in overseas. They went crazy ! I have sent several kits such as F4F wildcat , F6F hellcat to my US customers and Spit fire, hurricane for an Austrailians. It makes me feel good. But If you're deep into something. It will cost you too much money in anything.

My wife delivered a baby boy. I'm looking forward building kits togehter and gyming with him in the future.

Re: Hobby shops

I remember a shop on Shinjang called Disney Toy & Hobby. If I recall correctly, they sold models.
