Talking Re: Yongsan Poker Wednesday nights!

This may be old news to some of you- or maybe not?

A Lt. friend just told me about a Poker Game every Wednesday at The Club in the Reggie's Building behind Moyer Rec Center.
He says be there after 5:30 and you buy in with $20 in chips. You also get a ticket for a drink, and snacks! Believe it starts at 6PM and goes on as long as you wish.
(I don't know more about it, or if it requires any ID's, or if guests are allowed.)

Here is the info on this:

There is a weekly tournament at the main post club. Buy in is $15 and you can buy in as much as you want until the first break. then you can do one add on at the break.

You get a $7 meal ticket that you can use on that day. The only "drinks" you can buy are non-alcoholic.

You can win an $150, $100, $75 or $50 AAFES gift card. But the final table gets points that goes toward a month tournament. The top prize there is $500.

I don't think non-ID card holders are aloud. But I have seen a few.

Any questions?

Re: Yongsan Poker

My Lt. friend was wondering if perhaps he could bring a "Schoolteacher" buddy (Non-DODDS type). I believe that question was answered by the type of gift card that is the prize.

I signed in a friend from my hometown who is a schoolteacher, once, and he was delighted to get a great Quizno's sandwich and a tour of the Dragon. He was even delighted to see so many Americans and US automobiles.
(There is a Quizno's now over in the big mall under the Coex Center.)
