ACLU: Don't Bar Terrorist Sympathizers

Ok, I know of the ACLU as the lawyers that defend child molesters and just about anyone. BUT, this is getting ridiculous! In fairness the ACLU has defended many conservatives in court as well.

Quote:
The American Civil Liberties Union has filed a federal lawsuit seeking to strike down a provision of the Patriot Act that prevents foreigners who endorse terrorism from entering the U.S.

The suit was filed in Federal District Court in Manhattan on behalf of a prominent Muslim scholar, Tariq Ramadan, and three national organizations of academics or writers who have invited him to speak to their members.
First we have people saying we can't wire tap terrorists that are calling the U.S. and now we must allow people who endorse terrorism in the the country. This is why we will be attacked again like 9-11. Because there are groups like this in America who believe there should be no laws at all.

Why?

Why, in the name of Allah or anyone else, should we allow members of ANY Group, to enter our country if it is known to be a group that has the basic premise of killing all non-believers in their group? True Muslims are fudamentalist Muslims that follow the Koran. The Koran teaches that it is OK to lie to the Infidel as long as it serves the purpose of Allah. It also teaches that they cannot have Infidel friends. Logic then tells us that Moslems who pretend to be our friends are lying to us. Don't be fooled.

The Stupidity of NOT listening in on conversations between American citizens and suspected terrorists is just that. Stupidity. The time to curtail the freedoms of those who are sworn to destroy us is here Now!

Case has merit

Crap, I had posted a long reply and the website messed up when I went advanced. I'm a bit frustrated!

Anyways - the main point I want to get across is that the Tariq Ramadan case is much more complicated than what the original post implies. Time magazine recently predicted Professor Ramadan would be one of the most influential people of the 21st century, labeling him “the leading Islamic thinker among Europe’s second- and third-generation Muslim immigrants.”

If he's a bad guy, than the law worked...if he's in fact a good guy, than there's a problem. We need to build bridges with the Islamic world, and if he can help do this, than our country should welcome him. Here's some more info about him on Wikipedia.

I know how you feel! I also had a longwinded reply last night about the evils of Islam, but something locked up my reply also! Anyhow, we'll keep trying. Next time I'm writing the reply in Word, then quickly cutting and pasting to the forum. There might be something in this website that causes it to lock up if we cut and paste too slowly?

It would be nice if we Infidels could trust the followers of Islam to tell the truth, but there is good reason to believe that their motivation to lie to non-Muslims, (improving their chances of going to heaven), along with the fact that the Koran forbids them to have non-Muslim friends, prevents a knowledgable non-Muslim from associating with them.
The true Muslim is sworn to 1. convert you, 2. treat you as an inferior and tax you, or3. kill you.
The Koran says if they act otherwise, they become an Infidel, as we are. Know this before you feign sympathy. I will follow soon with proof from a Muslim authorized translation of the Koran.

I just read your story of Mr. Tariq Ramadan. He could well be in disagreement with the Fundamentalist Moslem Terrorists, however, by saying this, he becomes an Infidel, according to the Koran, and can not remain a Muslim! Sorry, he can't have it both ways. He cannot speak as a Muslim, therefore, and his suit may have merit. But, as long as he claims to be a Muslim, or voices opinions that can be construed as anti-American, he won't be allowed in.

Just as a Catholic cannot refuse to believe in some of the teachings of the Church, and still remain a Catholic. Picking and choosing which of the 10 Commandments you like, and ignoring those you disagree with, just doesn't work. Not even for Protestants! Sorry. Anyone can call themselves Christian or even Catholic, but that doesn't make it so. The same with Muslims. You are or you are not. You despise the Infidel, or you don't. Sorry.

Guys, if you write a long reply, select your text and hit copy before you post! This way if your post locks up it is still in memory. No software operates 100% error-less! Almost everything is 99.5% and forums are no different.
