Re: Bush Exploited, Shamed 9/11

Comparing apples two oranges? Is that a joke?

Comparing all of the democratically elected popular votes is comparing apples to oranges? Doutes, clear your hatred for Bush and you may open your eyes. If I were comparing Bush’s popularity to the last American Idol winner, then it would be Apples and Oranges. Do your apples taste like oranges?

I'm sorry Mike, but it's called critical thinking. I don't use a yardstick to measure gallons, and I don't use cups to measure miles.

Voting is not a measure of who you like. It's who you like more. The votes for Bush are not just measure support for him, but dislike for Gore or Kerry. Since the same candidates do not run each year, it's impossible to determine how many votes are because people like the candidate from the number of votes because people didn't like the other candidate.

To make is simplier for your, I'll give you a different example. Let's look at two imaginary polls and apply your "logic" to them.

Poll#1: Who is hotter? Roseanne Barr or Margaret Thatcher?
Poll Result: Roseanne Barr 26%, Margaret Thatcher 74%.

Poll#2: Who is hotter? Halle Berry or Jessica Alba?
Poll Result: Halle Berry 52%, Jessic Alba 48%

Using "Mike-Logic," we would assume Margaret Thatcher is hotter than Halle Berry or Jessica Alba. Do you really love Bush enough to agree with that?

Re: Bush Exploited, Shamed 9/11

Using Doutes Logic,

If you don’t like the results, just write long posts of crap that have nothing to do with the subject.

FACT: Bush is more popular in America than President Chen is in Taiwan, or Blair is in England, or Roh is in South Korea.

If the results showed the opposite, I grantee Doutes would be using my stats to prove that Bush is less popular than all other Democratic elected Presidents. This is called having it both ways. This is also why Doutes’s party has lost seats in Congress in the last SIX elections.

Also, anyone notice who posts facts with research and links and who posts opinion?

Enough said.

Mike, You need to calm down. What's all this crazy talk that I'm writing long posts that have nothing to do with the subject? You asked this:

Quote:
Comparing all of the democratically elected popular votes is comparing apples to oranges?
And I answered why it is. I gave you an example that you might understand a little more easily, because you didn't seem to understand the last post I made. You seem angry now about it now. Is that because you still don't understand my point about 'apples and oranges,' that you understand my point and disagree or that you understand my point and agree with me?

Re: Bush Exploited, Shamed 9/11

Doutes, you problem is you think people don't understand you. Are you smarter than everyone else? You do little research and almost never post an article or link. Until now all I have seen is opinion from you. When you post something more than, "I am right! Why don't you understand me!" then I may actually support some of your claims.

I compared:

1. Presidents
2. All Democratically Elected

Ok, one is a women in Germany and they all speak different languages. You got me! They are extremely different and have nothing to do with each other.

Anyone with some thoughts? Other than, "I am right, trust me."

Mike, how would I know if you understand? You never attack my arguments. You call me a Bush-hater. You ask me if I think I'm smarter than everyone else. But you don't address my arguments, and that makes me think you don't understand them. I know this will probably result in more personal invectives, but please, just address my arguments.

Re: Bush Exploited, Shamed 9/11

The evidence that Bush stole the 2004 is overwhelming. It's lame and even orwellian to state that just because the corporate media isn't reporting it, then it must be a conspiracy theory. Well, a number of studies have come out since 2004 to confirm it. The most notable of these is the Government Accountability Office report. You can read about its conclusions and even download the report itself from the following website:

http://www.freepress.org/departments...y/19/2005/1529

This is another good link about the GOA report:

Also, see Wayne Madsen report (September 7) here:

Voter fraud is not conspiracy theory:

Re: Bush Exploited, Shamed 9/11

Wow...it's almost 2007, isn't it? You guys really need to find a hobby that will keep you in the current year. I really don't understand all of the bashing in the first place since he CAN'T run for reelection. It's too late, guys, so just accept the fact that he's here for a wee bit longer and there's not a d@mn thing you can do about it.

You know...I run into this a lot with the younger personnel on the base, so I'll give you guys the same advice I give them. You can't change the past. All you can do is b1tch about it. If you want to make a difference, get into current events and see if you can make a change where and WHEN you are at now. Don't worry about things that you CAN'T affect, because again...all you are doing is b1tching. Look at your situation and try to affect things that you can actually have an impact on. And then, when you are done affecting your situation, live with it. Whether it turns out good or bad, you need to learn to live with your actions.

How does this apply here? Forget the past, focus on the present, plan for the future, and don't worry about things that you can't affect. You lives will be sooooo much more stress free, people won't feel compelled to throw verbal rocks at you, and you'll actually join the minority of the humans out here that are trying to make this world just a little better. Oh yeah...and STOP B1TCHING!

Re: Bush Exploited, Shamed 9/11

What is funny is I could create of of those websites in a few hours and make them say what I want. There is not a SINGLE reputable website on the list. They were all created by President Bush haters, so why would anyone even take a peak. Nice try though!
