President Bush's "Easy Button"

You have all seen the "Easy Button" on the Staples commercial. Just push the button and things happen.

I am constantly amazed at the stupidity of certain Americans. They think President Bush has an "Easy Button" for gas prices, interest rates, disenfranchising voters and much more!

People actually believe President Bush pushed his "Easy Button" in the last few weeks and gas prices fell. When gas prices go up it is because President Bush is catering to "Big Oil" and when gas prices fall he is trying to help Republicans in the November elections. He looses either way! Hatred has blinded 1/4 of America.
Now gas prices have fallen for several consecutive weeks, and recent polls show that consumers have a new suspicion -- that the price break is meant to give a boost to a US president and Republican Congress who had fallen out of favor with voters.

A USA Today/Gallup poll last week found that 42 percent of the roughly 1,000 adults surveyed across the United States believed President George W. Bush's administration had "deliberately manipulated the price of gasoline so that it would decrease before this falls elections."

This again renews my faith in the electoral college as their are too many people out their that are clueless and simply react to the elite media. The President doesn't have a button he pushes to make things happen. The President doesn't wake up and say, "How can I disenfranchise minorities today."

Overall, the good news is that gas prices are falling. The President has little influence over gas prices and that is the bottom line.

Re: President Bush's "Easy Button"

That is definitely good news that gas price is falling. Hope to see it back to under a buck-fifty again. Maybe a wishful thinking there.

You are right. It is hard to change people, especially those with blind hatred.
