Democrats Lose Their Edge
I love to see it! So much for change and new leadership.
The Democrats in Congress have lost much of the leadership edge they carried out of the 2006 midterm election, with the lack of progress in Iraq being the leading cause. Their only solace: President Bush and the Republicans aren't doing any better.

Democrats did so much damage before Bush ran for office, it seemed that Bush was the only option when he was elected. George tried, and went on to accomplish two things, whether through his own fault, or not. First, he prevented that bore Gore from being elected, and secondly, he now has become the least popular president ever, for which accomplishment Jimmy Carter, I hear, has sent a thank you note!
Prediction- I don't yet see an electable Democrat on the horizon. ![]() |
