Shame on the Europeans and much of the world
Living off base in Korea, I am forced to watch the BBC for my news on TV. Day in and day out, I have to hear how bad the U.S. is. Every day this week (and much of last week) I have had to hear full reports on the CIA "secret prisons". The Europeans are up in arms! A few months back I had to hear about the racism in American after the Katrina. All year, the Europeans produce report after report of how bad things are going in Iraq. I can only guess the Europeans are jelous of America's success (check out the European unemployment and economic growth rates).
Now, I am reading a report from Sec. of State Rice talking about how the Europeans are providing no support on the Saddam trial because they are against the death penalty. These are the same people that milked the Iraqi people in the "Food-for-Oil" program and were trying to lift sanctions vice going to war in Iraq. Here are some comments from Sec. Rice: Quote:

I came home for lunch today and the 45 minutes I spent at home the BBC reported the "Secret CIA" prisons 4 times! It is unbelievable. The Iraqis are set to vote for their government and in that story was covered once.
