We have to sift through a lot of crap trying to get an idea who is the person who is the least guilty; the least blatant liar. If you eliminate the professional politicians, you are left with pretty much no one you can trust completely. After that, it narrows down to a Democrat, a Republican, and maybe an Independent. As Kermit the Frog said," It ain't easy being green".

Obama talks very eloquently. Today he said he doesn't understand why anyone would have a need for a handgun that shoots 17 cartridges! I see now he is not really a black American, if he doesn't understand what all the others understand very well. He just lost about 15 million potential votes!
Our country always has allowed it's citizens to protect themselves from trouble, even when we become our own enemy. Our police are overwhelmed and under-gunned. They have little desire and meager capability to protect the citizen. Even if that was their most important duty, it is physically impossible. Call 911 and tell them you are being attacked by a gunman at your door. What chance do you think you have of living until someone drives out and finds your address? Figure the odds! I hate to see the school shootings bring out the people who are anti-gun. It is too late for that idiotic talk. It is insanely stupid to believe that laws can stop killngs. Criminals do not obeys gun laws! Only law-abiding citizens would. When, and if, those laws go into effect, only criminals will have guns. Don't be misled into giving up your right to self -protection. |

The problem with the anti-gun lobby is that they think that having no one be able to legally have gund then all shootings will go away. Most criminals do not get their weapons legally and many police departments are going to non lethal like taser & stun because of critisism. What good is strenthing a law that the people it is directed at will never and do not care about abiding by it.
