Bill Clinton blames everyone else for 911
I have yet to watch this video because I am in the coffee shop without my headphones. Any thoughts?

Re: Bill Clinton blames everyone else for 911
What he said about Somalia was true. No one in the world was even thinking about Bin Laden back then. I think this is just a bickering between the left and right. Another news reporter taking side, trying to blame the other side. For once, I like to hear just the news and not someone's opinion or bias view. I think Clinton spoke truly about Afghan and the CIA and FBI, and the military unwillingness to go into Afghanistan. The military is not to blame; they just think it is not possible. As for the CIA and FBI, they might have been drunk with power and unwilling to take order. Who knows. I don't blame either Clinton or Bush. No one forsaw what was going to happen. No one is omnipotent. I just blame the news media for spewing garbage to the public all the time. It's all about rating.

I seldom have anything good to say about Clinton. This time he makes pretty good sense. I seldom have anything good to say about the media. I still don't.

Re: Bill Clinton blames everyone else for 911
I still need to watch this!
I place a lot of blame for 9-11 on Bill Clinton. All of the signs were there! We had the first Trade Tower's bombing, Khobar Towers, the Embassy bombings in Africa, the Cole bombing and Bin Laden declared war on the U.S., not differentiating civilians with military men and women. He treated the terrorism as a police action and cared more of what the world thought and less about protecting U.S. citizens. Additionally, a New York grand jury indited Bin Laden. I don't believe all the hype that Bill Clinton was distracted by the Monica Lewinsky scandal to get Bin Laden. I simply don't think he took terrorism seriously in the first place. Sandy Berger was the most incompetent National Security advisers in history and was caught stealing classified information. Who knows how much he took out and destroyed before he was caught? Bill Clinton had 8 years to destroy Al Qaeda and President Bush had 9 months before 9-11. Would Bill Clinton have gone to Afghanistan after 9-11 like President Bush? Probably not. Would he have went into Iraq? Maybe. Let's not forget that Bill Clinton made it official policy of the U.S. to enact regime change in Iraq. I may have to wait a week to see this clip, but the 9-11 Commission Report taught me a lot about the Clinton failures to act before 9-11.
