Re: Michael J. Fox ad, a new low?

Any reason this is not major news?
http://www.usfkforums.com/the-lounge...eakthrough.htm

If it was a embryonic stem-cell break through it would be covered on every news outlet and the basis for Michael J. Fox's next ad. But since it came from a cord, it is not news.

You just have to love the liberal media brainwashing. Report the news you agree with and under-report the news that goes against what you thought was better.

Also you can sign an organ donor card and it will mean nothing, as they still have to get consent from your your family. who can say yes or no no matter what your donor status is
I am not sure that is true in every state. Even so, I would hope most parents would respect the wishes of their child. Also, many people that die don't have family.

I am sure many states respect the wishes of the donor. If they select "Organ Donor" on their card, that is legal. I don't have time to research 50 states though.

I don't know the truth. Did Michael J. Fox go off his meds to make an impact? Probably not, but I don't know. Would it be smart of him to do so? Yes.
Well, I can tell you that Michael J. Fox didn't go off his meds to make an impact. The involuntary movements that you see aren't an effect of Parkison's, but a side effect of the medication for Parkisons. Fox has stated in interviews that if he had gone off his medication, he wouldn't be able to speak.

Doutes, as I stated before I agree with you. I don't think Fox went off his meds. The info you present makes sense to me.

Re: Michael J. Fox ad, a new low?

It was a narrow victory for Michael J. Fox and Proposition to allow stem cell research. It passed 51% to 49%.

Re: Michael J. Fox ad, a new low?

Coop, if everybody felt that way, there would be no medicines at all. So, if I developed cancer, I should just accept it and die? Not attempt to cure it through medicines and chemotherapy? Trust in God to cure me? Sorry, I think God is great, but don't think he will worry too much about one more of his flock who is suffering. Should Michael J. Fox just give up and wait for God to heal him? I feel that God gave us the intelligence to fend for ourselves and stem cell research is another tool of our God-given intelligence. Too often, Republicans say that innovators are "Playing God" when they want to advance human knowledge. That is something God gave to us to use. If He didn't want us to use our minds, he would have kept us in the Garden.
