I have a question for everyone... and please support your answers:
Assuming both were alive and at the height of their reign, whom would you fear more: Kim Jong Il or Saddam Hussein? |

Re: A Question for all of you
Since Kim Jong Il might not be far away from having a missile design that can reach the US main land, I fear him more.
One problem though, North Korea has had a good-enough military and WMD deterent since the Korean War. Now, even without Soviet or Chinese support, taking out the North Korean regime through military strikes would come with too high a price in South Korea, American, and perhaps Japanese lives as the North retaliates. In short, going to war with Iraq was possible but with North Korea is deemed impossible. |

Re: A Question for all of you
And as I've found these past few weeks working on some history, the sad reality is Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, and so on would be just as able today to do what they did in their own time.
We like to think we would not allow it to happen. We are fooling ourselves.... |
