Re: The time has come... who are you voting for?
I saw a bumper sticker today that said: Alaska...The coldest state with the hottest governor.

Re: The time has come... who are you voting for?
Well it has been interesting -now things are leaning in the conservative direction, and it is the Republicans turn to tighten the screws. The addition of possibly the first Female Vice President in the history of the United States has added a little spice to the pie.
I like the part about having rebels in the mix- folks who are not really beholding to any fixed agenda. There may be a geniune possibility of some positive change in Washington. I'd kind of like it if some of the bills get squashed if they have too many little favorite "Eamarks" attached. If you only knew the wool that is being pulled over our eyes by the Congress you would be very surprised and angry. I'm all for cleaning up Congress. As the old boy Jerry Clower, from Yazoo City, Mississippi, said in the story of coon hunting, when he climbed up a tree to pull the raccoon out of a hole, and was met by the wrong end of the coon-" ...Shoot up here amongst us, boys, one of us has got to get some relief!" |

Talk to me in 2 years and let's see what a great idea this was... don't gloat yet all you did was get him in office, now he actually has to do something.

I wish Obama luck. He may do just fine if he doesn't somehow become influenced by the Muslims who paid for his Harvard Education, or by 20 years of listening to a "White Hating" Preacher. I don't think much of his gun and ammunition control or "re-distributing" the wealth, either. Saluting the flag would have been a really nice touch, also.
I'll go with ssnapier; talk to me in two years. ![]() |

Re: The time has come... who are you voting for?
Woo Hoo!! The cold war is back. Way to go Obama. ^_^ Apparently Russians aren't scared of him. Why can't we all just get along. Let's sing Cumbaya and tell happy stories together. That's the real world, isn't it?

Now, if we sing Kumbaya, that would be nice, but someone might detect some CHRISTIAN significance to it, and Nancy Pelosi wants no special priviliges for Christians, as she denies that this country was founded on Christian Principles, but on the need for Religious Freedom. Except she thinks it is OK to let Muslims have prayer time twice a day in school. But, let's see, isn't there some rule against prayer in school? Or was that just for Christians? I think it is time to move out of here -since we are no longer concerned with voting. and [B]all please move on to Political Aftermath-New Regime in America,
