Here is one of the more problematic ideas. When you read it, keep in mind there are others (like me) who argue against the claim presented --- and keep in mind - however - what he claims is generally accepted as correct in Korean society as a whole.

of the pro-democracy movement in Kwangju in May 1980 would not have been possible without the United States’ implicit endorsement or active support.
