In addition to a major rally on Capitol Hill April 28 for the anniversary of North Korea Freedom Day, an all night prayer vigil at the Embassy of China, and the continuing World Tour of the North Korea Genocide Exhibit, we plan to host the largest delegation of North Korean defectors ever to visit the USA and are working with other NGOs to sponsor activities throughout the week. As always, events will be open to the public and everyone is invited to participate. We promise to make the week worthwhile for anyone traveling to Washington, D.C. for these events. So far, these major events are confirmed, and we will advise as more special programs and activities are confirmed: Sat, April 22, 2006 12:30-3:30 pm Demonstration Against North Korea's Abduction of Citizens of Japan, South Korea, and other Nations Lafayette Park (across from the White House) sponsor: Rescuing Abductees Center for Hope Tues, April 25, 2006 Holocaust Remembrance Day Opening of NK Genocide Exhibit on Capitol Hill Fri, April 28 Anniversary of North Korea Freedom Day North Korea Freedom Day Rally 12:00 noon West Front- US CAPITOL Fri, April 28 All Night Prayer Vigil 6pm Program; 7 pm - 7 am Prayer Vigil across the street from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China ("Little Tianamen Square") Prayers for North Korean Refugees, Jailed Humanitarian Workers, North Koreans Repatriated by the Chinese authorities, and for all of the North Korean people.
