How did Kim il Sung die?
I have read story after story that Kim il Sung died of a "sudden" heart attack. I have even read that some South Korean newspapers report that Kim il Sung died from a heart attack arguing with his son, Kim Jong-il.



We may never know the truth, but it would make sense for the son to kill his father to take over. Maybe he was feeling the old man was taking way too long to die.

Has the South Koreans ever made a movie on the subject?

Really ? I don't know well.
But, I have never heard such that report through main News.

He actually died while having a casual father & son chat...then it suddenly went wrong.

Jong-Il said to his father that some day when he is handed power over North Korea that he'd immediately reunite the Koreas and hand all power to the South Korean president. This put Kim Il-Sung into cardiac arrest. However, Il-Sung didn't die because of the shocking, unbelievable statement...he died of so much laughter!

일성: "하하하하하하!! 오호호호호호!! 어?!~으으으.." (꼴까닥!)
정일: "~하하하....아버지? 아버지? 아버지!!!!!!!"
