[USFK Forums] Has Washington given up hope for six-party talks? [Yonhap]
Uploaded by C. Y. Lee on Monday, March 13, 2006 Has Washington given up hope for six-party talks? 2006/03/13 16:24 By Byun Duk-kun SEOUL, March 13 (Yonhap) -- The United States seemed to have stepped up its offensives against North Korea over the weekend, prompting a renewed threat from the communist state that it will boycott international negotiations over its nuclear programs until Washington lifts financial sanctions against it. Quite contrary to the apparent outcome of the U.S. move and Washington's claim that the sanctions have nothing to do with the nuclear talks, analysts here said the financial sanctions have everything to do with the nuclear negotiations.
