[USFK Forums] N. Korea to execute illegal drug dealers: security ministry [Yonhap]
Uploaded by C. Y. Lee on Saturday, March 18, 2006 N. Korea to execute illegal drug dealers: security ministry 2006/03/18 13:04 By Lee Joon-seung SEOUL, March 18 (Yonhap) -- North Korea has issued a special decree that calls for the maximum penalty of death for its citizens involved in manufacturing and trafficking drugs, a South Korean relief group said Saturday. A copy of the North's decree, obtained by Seoul-based Good Friends, also provides for severe punishment for those who steal communication or electricity lines for sale, a crime that defectors say is prevalent in the poor communist country.
