Gordon Cucullu (Ret.) Han-Sik Kim & Colleagues North Korea is known to have created at least 20 underground tunnels under the DMZ into South Korea. Some analysts believed this program to have been abandoned. However, new evidence has emerged suggesting active work has continued on North Korean infiltration tunnels to present day. One previously undiscovered tunnel may even reach as far as U.S. military bases in South Korea. Col. Cucullu will open this program discussing the innovative, effective ways that North Korea has used tunnels to hide such assets as artillery positions, ammunition dumps and even airfields. Main presenter Kim Han-Sik and his team of researchers will reveal for the first time their findings of active work on these tunnels and the threat they pose to peace on the Korean peninsula.
