Does Bush deserver credit?

When Libya gave up their WMD, very few of his critics gave him any credit for the results: another rogue country WITHOUT WMD.

North Korea has shut down their nuclear facility and may even get rid of it completely if the newest deal goes through. Does President Bush deserve any credit for this? Especially since Carter and Clinton got so much praise the last time North Korea made a deal? I think Carter even got Nobel Peace prize or something!

Re: Does Bush deserver credit?

Bush should get praise for his administrations strong stand that forced the worm to turn in Libya and now, looks like the little bastard in the north is coming to his senses. Unfortunately, absolutely everything, every focus about Bush and his people is on Iraq and meaningless, almost controversies in his admin. Only history will put the success with Libya and the DPRK in perspective.

Until NK has completely given up its nuclear weapons program - and we verify beyond a shadow of a doubt that they have actually done so - I won't believe a word they say regarding their intention to do so.

They have proven time and time again that they do not follow through on such promises.

Right on Willy! They won't play fair, no matter what concessions we and SK
give them. Watch carefully this week...

Re: Does Bush deserver credit?

Now Now, the inspectors are there and lets give them a chance to inspect before we say history has to repeat itself consistently in the DPRK. All things are possible.
