Overall  This is a great place to drink beer with friends. JJ’s beer selection and covered patio set it above an average bar. Atmosphere  JJ’s is a favorite hangout of many beer drinkers, including my friends from the Army’s 1-43 ADA. The covered front patio is a great place to have a beer, chat with friends, and catch all of the action on Aragon Alley. Music  Although a wide selection of music is available on a PC, you will have to ask JJ to play your favorite song. JJ also ensures that the volume is always kept at a reasonable level. Service There is no wait staff here, but the three bartenders will quickly serve you a drink. JJ himself will do his best to ensure that you have a great time. Alcohol/Food JJ’s features a HUGE selection of beer and even offers Guinness on tap! If you can’t find your favorite beer here, you may not find it anywhere else in Songtan. However, food is not served at JJ’s. Extras You can play pool and darts at JJ’s. If you are a regular at this bar, you may even get your picture taken and posted on the wall of fame. If you grab yourself a seat on the patio around 4:30pm you can watch the "Juicy Parade" for about an hour. Great times, great times...

When I was there in early May 2005, the one hooker flophouse across the street - they put up signs showing it was now a "clothing store". Funniest thing I ever freaking say - right about 4:30, girls start pouring out of there carrying department store bags. No two of them had the same bag!! ROFLMAO!! Great cover - NOT. |
