Overall



This is the best Rock & Roll bar that I’ve visited. The heavy metal music at Whisky-A-Go-Go is f***ing loud - just how I like it.

Atmosphere



This bar is THE hangout for hard rock enthusiasts in Songtan. It’s spacious, clean, and has the most unique decor of any bar around. Aside from pictures and memorabilia from top heavy metal bands, this bar also features big, intricate carvings of famous band logos on the walls. Whisky-A-Go-Go is definitely a must see – just be careful who sees you at the pisser, it’s directly across from the bar.

Music



Whisky’s DJ will blow your ears away with the best hard rock from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today. He also plays a wide variety of rock videos on numerous plasma TVs throughout the bar. The music is SO loud at Whisky, that you’ll swear you are next to a speaker at a Metallica concert.

Service



When the bar owner is named SOJU, you know you are at good bar in Korea! As many as three beautiful bartenders will attend to your drinking needs. Two Agimas will gladly take your order and quickly deliver your drinks to your table. Don’t look around the bar for Juicies at Whiskey, there are none to be found.

Alcohol/Food



You will find a good selection of beer at Whisky, but what makes this place special is the HUGE selection of Soju mixed drinks. Be prepared to pay up to $7.00 for a large White Dog, but rest assured you’ll be plastered after drinking a few of these.

Extras



You will find almost all of the entertainment extras at Whisky A Go Go – pool table, dart boards, and even a mosh pit.

Overall -- 3.5

Best heavy-metal bar I've ever been to also, EXCEPT when they play some lame-ass 80's rock, which they tend to do quite often if you are ever down there on a week night. Plus the new DJ, a younger guy, I don't know his name is a jerk-off who won't play your music.

Atmosphere

Dark, loud, and crowded. (weekends) The bar is really small and it gets quite packed on the weekends. The testosterone levels in Whiskey are off the charts too. Watch out for guys in childrens t-shirts....

Music

Whiskeys music kicks ass, as stated before, except for the 80's flashback moments.

Service

Good service. Good staff.

Alcohol/Food

The Soju drinks are great, so are the exceptionally large OB's. No food, sorry.

Extras

Flower lady hits up Whiskey a lot I noticed, and on the weekend you'll get the lady selling those stuffed bears and whatever other crap she has on her.

I wouldn't say the review is biased...it's just that Ever is incapable of giving less than four juices to any bar.

This is by far the best bar in Songtan. There are no nasty juicy girls pretending they can dance, they play real music real loud, and the service is incredible. When ever I walked through the door the bartender would say"pitcher grape soju" and of course she knew never to put more than one straw in it because it was all mine!!!! She was the greatest.

Disappointing! I was just here three years ago and the Whiskey was the place to a go-go. Now I say no-no. The establishment claims to be a rock/metal bar. It was in 03-04 but that has all changed. I was in on New Years eve and left promptly. Besides the standard group of Osan Queens trying to get attention the music was TERRIBLE. Since when did Alanis Morisette, Weezer, Prince and the Fallout Boys become metal or hard rock? If you are a newcomer or frequent to Osan do not waste your time here if good rock music is what you seek. Long gone are the days of Metallica, Zakk Wylde, Ozzy and AC/DC.

Wow I'm disappointed to hear that the Whiskey sold out!!! Do they have juicy's too!!!???? I haven't been their since Jan 03 but it was the place to be then.
