Area III Spouse Orientation Seminar
The orientation will be held on Oct. 17th from 0800-1130 at the CAC on Cp Humphreys. It is held the 3rd. Tuesday of every month. I went to this last month and I had a lot of fun. The information is similar to the Newcomers briefing that soldiers go to but this is geared just to the spouses. Refreshments are provided which consisted of snacks, coffee, and bottle water. Child care was also provided. There were drawings for prizes and everyone there left with at least something small. After the orientation, spouse are taken to the DFAC for lunch. Lunch is not free I think it was $3.55. I just wanted to eat there because we are not normally allowed to eat in the DFAC. The next day spouses are taken on a tour to Emart.
