Korean washer/dryer unit

Wondering if anyone has any tips on efficiently using the combo washer/dryer unit. I ran my first load today and, with a couple set-backs, got it done in a little over ten hours. hehe Long story, but because of a little miscommunication with my husband and resetting a couple times, it actually washed the clothes three times. BUT if anyone has any advice, I'd love to hear it!

Re: Korean washer/dryer unit

I hang everything to dry. I tried drying a load for 3 hours... with no luck. Drying, with a window open, takes only a few hours in the sunlight. We have a little patio area we can do ours. Its much easier, and much cheaper! :) Just get a couple drying racks from the BX.

As for actually using it, do you know what kind it is? If its like mine, it has an on button, then you turn a knob to do different types of loads. The one that its on when I turn it on is just a regular load and I always use that. I see no reason to make the water hot as everything gets REALLY clean in these washers with cold water. Use fabric softener with every load. :)

Re: Korean washer/dryer unit

Those washer/dryer's are a pain in the butt. Some of my heavy clothes items I hang up to dry. We're moving to a new apartment when our lease is up and it has an American style washer and dry. We are so glad.
