Hi all,
This is my first post! My husband and I are coming to OSAN AFB this fall - he will be arriving in October and I am coming a month later with our dog. Does anyone have any experience with travelling with a large dog to Korea? He is a 70lb german shepherd. I am currently trying to get a direct flight from LAX to Seoul, but all the airlines have different regulations! Korean Air will only allow a max of 70lbs (crate + dog) to be shipped as baggage. So we are looking into shipping him as cargo on Korean Air but it is so stressful! If anyone has experience with any of the airlines and/or shipping a dog via airline cargo please let me know! I'm starting to get pretty stressed! |

Re: Moving to Korea with Dog
It should not be stressful. People do it all the time. I think I used Delta, when I shipped two big dogs to Korea. Years ago they were quarantined for two weeks! Not now.
I like Korean Airlines, and recommend them. The dog will be treated well. |
