Storks Nest Pictures
Here are some pictures that I took while I was at the Storks Nest. They're of building 5214, which is the one for people without children.

Great! Not bad by Army standards! The next crop of mothers will thank you!
Hopefully they will be comforted by how the 121 has set this up for them! |

Re: Storks Nest Pictures
It would be great if someone who stays in the family building could add some pictures too.

Re: Storks Nest Pictures
I really appreciate the pics you took!
We are PCSing there in June and I deliver in Aug. Who is allowed to stay with you at the Stork's Nest? Other children - age limit (only have one - toddler)? Spouse? Just the expectant mother and her child? How many rooms are there? Thanks for any info you may have to share :-) Katherine |

Re: Storks Nest Pictures
I don't think they care who stays in the room with you. I don't think they even asked me who was staying with me. Only if I had a child so that they could put me in the building that is set up for families. The building I was in had four rooms. I would think the other building has the same number of rooms. The rooms had one double bed. Most of the women had their husbands with them. One lady had her husband, 3 year old, and her mother all staying in the one room. I guess they slept on the floor. Once you check in at the ACS building, no one goes over to the Storks Nest to check on you. A lady stops in a few times a week to sweep and mop and do some cleaning but that's it.

Re: Storks Nest Pictures
It's been a little over a year since I stayed at the Stork's Nest. I had the family room and it had a private bathroom, a qeen bed, a futon bed (double bed sized), and a pack-n-play. I used to have pictures but I must have deleted them because now I can't find them. It was a really nice room.
