Unhappy Help!

I sent for my visa this week and the lady just called, apprarently I forgot to sign the freakin passports! I literally had every piece of paper I needed, but that. I leave next Wednesday, my move out inspection here is the 6th, she is sending my stuff back and says we wont have time so I can enter Korea as a tourist for 30 days and go to the embassy there. Is that right? Anyone with any experience with this? Please tell me I dont have to cancel and rebook my flight...I am worried to death now.

I haven't done it personally, but yeah you can come to Korea for 30 days without a Visa. I got my baby an A-3 Visa and SOFA stamp at the PAX terminal here at Osan, which took about 20 minutes. No worries, everything is going to be ok

Re: Help!

Thank you, thank you, thank you...gah, seriously, this trip is going to kill me...lol! I am so freakin stressed out, and trying to get all my ducks in a row is insane! :)
I dont post alot here, but the information you all provide for us just beginning this journey really has helped so many. Had I not found this site I probably would have ended up staying in the states and being without my husband for the next year, then of course through a deployment when we get back. The info here is positive and honest, and really helps those who have no clue when they even consider moving to SK.
I am going to put up a message when we get there, so some of us can get together! That way I actually know some others there, :).

Re: Help!

You don't go to the embassy. There is an office near the embassy, or you can do it at the Yongsan ACS building. sign up when you get here. They have a person that comes to Yongsan once a month to do Visa's. But you have to sign up right away.

I was just saying why go to Osan when they can get it done at Yongsan, if they are living in Seoul.

We noticed It's all good though, I'm the same way, I'm going to try to fly Space A in a couple weeks and I'm all stressed because I've never done it before. At least you have a place like this were you can ask your questions and get honest answers

Thank dog, or I would have jumped out my second story window by now. Crawling in a hole has crossed my mind in the last week...*giggle*
