Re: question...

I'm an Air Force wife living at Yongsan (there are a few of us scattered about) and the couch that we were issued is small, uncomfortable, and a hideous green leafy/floral pattern. I regret not bringing our own couch. As for your weight allowance, I could be wrong, but I believe its per rank and whether the service member is with or without dependents. So a married service member with fifty kids would not get any more of a weight allowance than a married service member with no kids. But again, I could be wrong on that.

Any info would help! Thanks!
If you go to Navgirls album it will show you the furniture issued:

Here are examples of what I've found on the onestop army site:

Re: question...

Yep that looks like all the same crap that is in my house. Different colors but that is it. It is not the best made stuff, but you would think different when you sign for everything. Total for what I signed for was over $18,000

You might say thats not bad for an entire house of furniture, but wait until you sit on it.......The couch and chairs do not have springs they just have a piece of bouncy fabric pulled tight so the pillows have something to rest on...

Re: question...

Thanks! I think I am going to at least bring my couches! I hope our weight allowance is enough! LOL! In Germany the couches were made of mostly wood. The tile floor was more comfortable! LOL! I am so ready to get to Korea!
