Re: Anxious, Sad, Confused.. Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm heading there tomorrow for the first time and my wife won't be joining me until hopefully October...hopefully not meaning at least 2 months, but no more than as it can't be before that, ^_^ I set up my mac and her laptop for Skype webcam. It's free from PC to PC and it's video which is even nicer. That will save us tons of $ and heartache. Highly recommended!

What are the best options for communications over there. I currently have a t-mobile cell phone, as he does as well... but the international rates are still pretty high. Are calling cards usually the best option?

One other question... if I do decide to move to korea unaccompanied, I still get housing allowance based on the area correct? (again, so many things i thought I knew, but the more I research, the more I just get confused and disscouraged.)
Thank you!

My boyfriend is in Korea - he has a Korean cellphone which I can text him on - and we use webcams, and instant messenger with webcams - I get to chat to him regularly which is great :) We also voice chat via the computer.
