My Photo
![]() Above PIC is my troops photo. The right's gun is a K1 rifle. This place is Navy Radar site into DMZ of east coast. North Korea area can't see this site but we can see North Korea area. I used to see to North Korean troops by a telescope. Korea is very sad country more than the Philippines. If war break out, we have to kill each other. but, North Korea is the same pepole like South Korea pepole. Why do we have to kill them ? Why do we have to fight with each other ? Re: My Photo
I built a radar site for the ROK Air Force, on 강 화 도. The name is
뵤 립 산 or 표 립 산 . North Korea is sad. South Korea is much better financially. The Philippine economy is sad. Maybe a new president will help them in the future. |

Quote:
Although it is unfortunate situation with nK, I am not sure I agree that the nK people are the same as SKorea. I understand the younger people like to believe that the people in the north have even similar ideologies. I believe they have physical similarities and that is all they have in common. There is also becoming a distinct difference in the physical attributes. There has been a separation of families for almost 60 years. The people in the north only receive the news the government wants them to hear. The exception is Kim Jong Il's son who is allowed the personal freedom. Therefore the doctrine that is instilled in them daily is all they know. During the reunification reunions the nK's that attend sing songs of how great their leader is, and how life in the north is great. The people in nK are under nourished therefore a change in the physical size is diminishing. This is passed on to the generations for a matter of survival. On my first visit to Korea in the early 70's I remember the average size Korean was maybe 165 cm tall and 60 kg. They were also a very strong for their size since did not have the automation they have today. I could also usually differentiate between Koreans and other Asians. In contrast to SKoreans of today it is very difficult. The physical attributes have changed drastically. I did not want to offend your optimistic outlook on the north, rather to explain a more practical perspective of the reality of the situation.

Re: My Photo
I understand what you are trying to say; however, would it not be a boring world if all the people were the same?
