chucksnee,

I do collect foreign bills from around the world. My mother has some interesting money that may interest you. She has some Confederate money produced during the Civil War and some "Country of Texas" notes when Texas was a country after it broke away from Mexico. They are both cool to see!

Mike

Mike i'm sure they are very interesting! When you say interested in, do you mean she wants to sell them or that i would just be interested in them?

That would be cooll to have a "Country of Teaxs" bill.

The foreign bills have never interested me. Can't say why but they just don't.

Here is my dream note that i would love to have but as you can see the price just keep going up.

I was just joking around. I know you're not gay. We all know mike is "Manful" and "Handsome"...

If I heard what you said in Korean, it'd sound normal, but translating/expressing it to English just kind of made it sound funny.

chuck, I have a question on quarters...

Many years ago I had a pocket full of quarters and just dropped it on my dresser. Under the sunlight I noticed one had a difference in color and it did not have that faint, reddish color going around the outside of it; like it was a special mint. It was a 1964 quarter. Anyway, I kept it all this time and it does not tarnish like a normal quarter would. I also noticed since then it was really difficult to find a 1964 quarter. Are these 1964 quarters special in some way?

Chuck,

I don't think she is interested in parting with them. I will ask her to scan them though!

That is a nice dollar on Ebay! It is even better when they are graded like that so you know exactly what you are getting as far as the condition.

Without hobbies life would be boring!

Mike

Yep eddiev those are the year's i am looking for 1935 - 1964 quarters. Yes they are "special". These are the years of the Silver Quarter, they were made of 60% silver. Then the U.S. Decided that it was to expensive to use silver.

Ohhhh wait a minute ahhhhh, i mean no their is nothing special about those quarters.....

wanna sell it?
