Are cell phones the worst invention ever made?
First let me say that cell phones are beautiful invention. It is unbelievable that you can talk to someone just about anywhere in the world. Soon you will be able to do live video.
For me cell phones are one of the worst inventions ever given to mankind. Why? In America, there are too many "needy" people that feel that they have to be on the phone at the gym, driving, shopping and everything else. I get cut off daily by an idiots in a car and talking on their cell phone. Hands-free does not mean they are paying attention. Then there are those people starving for attention and talk on the phone while the are working out at the gym or shopping in the store. They are not concerned that they are blabbing their personal life to the world and we don't want to hear it. Next, they are annoying! People let the ring in movie theaters, at meetings and just about everywhere else. I think the law should be written that you get a punch in the nose if your phone rings in the movie theater. I use a cell while driving maybe a few times a year. When someone calls I either wait to call them back or answer and say, "Let me call you back because I am driving." I feel I should have 100% of my attention on the road. Just today I was cut off driving to work. As I passed the guy he had a cell phone and was in a deep conversation. As I sample the road roughly 1 out of 5 people were on a cell phone. I would say it is worse in Korea. I have noticed that Koreans get cell phone at a much early age!
