Ah, yes another myth. I hear all the time that the US is full of criminals. Well, you are more likely to be robbed in Spain or in England than in the US. You are actually more likely to be robbed in Spain by a 12-1 odds than in the US!

How about car thefts? The US is beaten by Australia, Denmark, England, New Zealand, Norway, France, Canada, and Italy! We may make the better carjacking games, but we are not the leaders of car theft.

How about rapes? Well, you are more likely to be raped in Canada than the US. Canada is ranked number #5 and the US is ranked #9 per capita.

Who is the toughest on crime? The US at #1 with the most people in prison per capita! The US may not be the #1 criminal country in the world, but we are the toughest on crime. It is sad to see South Africa at #10 since they lead in almost every category.

How about total crime? The US is #8 below New Zealand, England, Finland, Denmark and Chile.
