Kerry: "If I were President there would be gummy bears, not bullets

John Kerry said that if he were President:

"There would be gummy bears growing from every tree in the Middle East and the rivers would flow with chocolate. Homosexuals from from Israel and Hamas would have their gay pride parade together, not apart. I have a Dream!"

Actually, that is made up, but pretty close to realty when it comes to John Kerry.

Here is what he actually said.

"If I was president, this wouldn't have happened," said Kerry during a noon stop at Honest John's bar and grill in Detroit's Cass Corridor.

Bush has been so concentrated on the war in Iraq that other Middle East tension arose as a result, he said.

"The president has been so absent on diplomacy when it comes to issues affecting the Middle East," Kerry said. "We're going to have a lot of ground to make up (in 2008) because of it."

Is Kerry buddies with Hamas, Iran and Syria? Or would he have invaded and killed Hezbollah? Here is a quote from him.

"We have to destroy Hezbollah."

Sounds like what Israel is doing.
