Roe V. Wade: For men?
The hot topic on all the news stations appears to be about men’s rights when having children. Basically, a guy was dating a girl who stated that she couldn't have children. The guy made it clear that he did not want children and they both agreed. Well, the lady got pregnant and had the child and is forcing the guy to pay $500 a month. The guy’s lawyer has started a court case trying to get Roe V Wade rights for men.
Basically, their case is that men have no options and women have every option. A woman can have an abortion without consulting the guy or have the child and force the man to pay child support. She has complete power over the guy’s life. She can abort his child even if he wants to raise it. Or she can raise the child and force the guy to pay $500 a month for 18 years ($108,000 total). Should men be forced to pay child support in this case? Even if they had a verbal agreement not to have children? Should men have any say during abortion?
