Beach for Muslim Women Planned in Italy

Yet another example of Europeans changing their culture for Muslims.

Now the Italians are at it. Is it just me or is this idiotic greed? When I visit other peoples country I try my best to adhere to their culture. When Muslims go to other countries the host country has to adhere to their religion.

Quote:
Hotels at an Italian seaside resort are eager to act on the town's decision to authorize the creation of all-female beach sections for Muslim women, with at least one hotel owner saying Friday that plans are already under way to open the first of such secluded areas next month.
The city council of Riccione, a popular resort on Italy's Adriatic coast about 90 miles east of Florence, has said it is prepared to authorize requests to set up partitions on parts of the shoreline to satisfy requests from the town's growing numbers of Arab and Muslim tourists.

"I can only be in favor of such a proposal," said Tomas Corazza, manager of the Hotel Mediterraneo. "It allows them to use the beach while respecting their traditions and their religion."
Let me get this straight. Now MEN are excluded from a portion of a beach. So, these Muslim women get their religious rights, but men get excluded? Sounds fair to me.

Don't these women already were enough clothing to keep warm in the winter? Is this what we will see? Probably not because the lady in this picture would be stoned in Saudi Arabia and many other Muslim countries for showing her legs.

Offendi-Offend ME! I am not going to offend Muslim ladies. I will offend anyone, though, that wants to change the rules of their country just because a visitor MIGHT be offended. Do they need tourist money that badly?

Are we going to close our Christian Churches, or put them on one end of town, so that the Temple worshippers of Allah won't be Offended by having to look at Infidels? Follow our customs and present laws! We do make reasonable accommodations for the handicapped, but after that,
LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT!

Re: Beach for Muslim Women Planned in Italy

Well I want a beach for people that only wear one peice swim suits since I am not comfortable seeing people in bikinis. I also want a beach for people who are a little overwieght, but not obese, and not to skinny, since I don't like to feel bad about my body. Give me a break! Where does it end?! I can understand their want to maintain their modesty, but good grief whats next? If you don't want people to see you in a bathing suit at the beach, don't go to the beach, its a simple ad that.

Isn't a "burka" one piece? I'm not sure how to spell it. We pleasingly plump folk sort of segregate ourselves at the beach.

Joe, you're to cute. A burka is one piece but not a one piece swimsuit.

Re: Beach for Muslim Women Planned in Italy

So is anyone going to be there to ensure these ladies don't get blown up?

Re: Blow Up Muslim Women ?

If you listen to the News, they are saying only Israelis blow up women and children. But they seldom mention that Hezbollah does the same.
Back on the beach, there is merit to that beach if the Italians think they can make money at it. I'd be very suspicious, though because I know the Italian paparazzi will find a way to get cameras in there! Those photographers will blow them up (To 8X10) and sell them around the world! Everyone wants to know what is under the burkas! Maybe we will all find out soon.
