JonBenet Ramsey's killer found?

The news is all the buzz with a man in Thailand admitting to be the killer of JonBenet Ramsey.

Quote:
A former schoolteacher has admitted to killing 6-year-old beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey, the head of Thailand immigration police said Thursday, a surprise breakthrough in a sensational crime that some feared would never be solved.

John Mark Karr, 41, admitted to the killing after he was arrested at his downtown Bangkok apartment Wednesday night, Lt. Gen. Suwat Tumrongsiskul told The Associated Press.

"He told police while under arrest that he did kill the girl but so far he has not pleaded guilty in writing. This is needed as official evidence," Suwat said.
This is a story that was created by the media. There are thousands of children that die each year, many murdered. They never got the headlines this case did.

And of course the media never caring about laws and orders.

Quote:
Thai officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media said a staffer from the Boulder district attorney's office was already in Bangkok.
Isn't it great that people leak everything?

Anyway, this case may finally be over as the man will be sent to the U.S. soon. Expect non-stop coverage of him arriving at the airport, picking his nose and taking a leak.

Mike

Re: JonBenet Ramsey's killer found?

It is too quick to pass judgement in the media on this individual. There are way too many questions unanswered. Any idea of the number of people who confess to crimes they do not commit? A jury of his peers really need to decide the truth if they are allowed. Remember court is not about finding the truth, it is about winning. Sad but true.
