Iran Opens Nuclear Reactor

Iran is ignoring the UN (go figure) and started their reactor on Saturday.

This is what happens when the UN remains toothless. Eventually, the U.S. and/or Israel will have to deal with Iran militarily. It is a joke for Iran to say they are building this for energy, peaceful purposes. They are swimming in oil and have only one use for a nuclear reactor like this; to build a nuclear bomb.

Re: Iran Opens Nuclear Reactor

All it takes is one tiny litte tactical nuke and we'd have no more problems like this. It looks like this facility is way out in the middle of nowhere, so there would be very little collateral damage. Anybody have a tactical nuke laying around?

Re: Iran Opens Nuclear Reactor

I'm afraid the time has come where our government may actually have to sit down and talk to the Iranians. It seems to me we had sanctions against Iran for many years and then came the Iran/Contra affair. Its not so scary that they have nuclear reactors, they have submarines that fire missles now. That provides a whole new dimension to their capabilities. They may have developed surface nuclear technology with minimal help over the past three decades but there is no way in hell they developed missle firing submarines without the Russians doing it for them. The same can be said of North Korea.

Re: Iran Opens Nuclear Reactor

Yeah...this should be interesting over the next few years. I don't see any quick solution, but it will delay our troops leaving Iran or Afghanistan.

Just ONE small little tactical nuke.......

Re: Iran Opens Nuclear Reactor

How about a couple of hundred, in unison?
