[IMAGE] Rifle baffles Al-Zarqawi

He can cut off the heads of people civilians as long as their hands are tied behind their back, but he can't even operate a riffle. This image is from a video showing him mishandling a riffle.

Quote:
Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is shown wearing American tennis shoes and unable to operate his automatic rifle in video released by the US military as part of a propaganda war aimed at undercutting the image of the terror leader.

The US command showed the footage to reporters at a time when it is stepping up operations against al-Qaeda in Iraq and making overtures to other Sunni groups.

The Americans hope to isolate religious extremists from insurgents they believe are more likely to cut a deal to end the war.

The clips were part of a longer video that US troops seized in a raid last month.

Amazing, this shows on sources other than CNN. Do you suppose CNN has an agenda? Sure they do. They'll post propaganda against the US, but not for it.

Powershot you make an excellent point. All you have to do is look at where CNN gets their revenue from, overseas. CNN has been stopped into the dirt by Fox News. Why? Because CNN caters to the international audiences and Fox News caters to America. You will never see an American flag waving at the top-left of CNN's screen.

CNN is more interested in what people in Africa, the Middle East and Europe think. They don't won't to offend Zarqawi and maybe that will give them a chance to do interviews with his terrorist group.

i watch international news because i hate the spin that all US news groups put on there news. After the war in Iraq started i had both BBC, canadian news network and CNN on. CNN was leaving mass ammounts of reports/pictures/ect out.

and by the way Mike, you might want to look more into the cames, as there aobut 3 differnet groups that came to be the most watched news network, and there is also the fact that just because your the most watched doesn;t make you the most right.
