Let's see... from a lawyer's point of view, I can see why he lifted his foot. The player was on a collision course, full force, without looking in front of him. The goalie knew that if he had not lifted his foot (while trying to keep his eye on the ball), they'd have collided head on beyond imagination. The foot hitting the face was coincidence.
