My opinion- it is not Konglish. It is a correct expression.
It has an additional slang meaning in English, which is as Mike said, but that doesn't make it wrong. Some of us get off from a bus or subway every day. Exit may be the most preferred word, but not most used. I wish E -Mart would use EXIT on their signs in their garage. Most Foreigners cant tell the Entrance from the Exit, as they can't read Korean. |

There is a middle school joke using this expression.
"What would you do if you were on a bus full of gay men?" "Get off" Laughter follows. Pretty lame I know, but middle school boys are easily amused. In the same vein as snipe hunts and dikfers. |

I have noticed something here koreans use the proper terms pretty much for everything like i was anting to play pool and the guys just smiled until someone passed and said billards then he pointed me in the direction of the bar i was looking for... Off subject but relavent.. the Get Off thing... I am with you mike LMAO but exit would be prefered but ohhhh us guys and our dirty minds lol

I saw a sign on Highway 1 that said "Tunnel Turn On Light"

I saw the same sign in Virginia. "Tunnel- Turn on Lights". Does that make it Virginish?
